Repeatedly voted the most beautiful beach in France and Europe, the beach at Rondinara never disappoints: fine sand, turquoise waters, gentle slopes, all set off against a backdrop of unspoilt scrubland adorned with reddish rocks. While the shell-like shape and Tahitian colour of the bay are gradually revealed as you drive along the road that leads to it, the beach is immediately captivating for the calm and gentle way of life that reigns here. A ten-minute walk from the campsite (along a path through the scrubland), the Rondinara beaches are public and suitable for children's play, with a gentle slope for entering the water.
Dogs are welcome but must be supervised. Even cows are allowed on occasion!
And for those who prefer shade and comfort, paillotes with sunbeds are available for hire at Chez Ange.
Pay parking is available nearby for easy access to the beach.
Take your time and enjoy life, give up your car and walk to the beach - you will reduce your CO2 emissions and your body will thank you for these few minutes of exercise.
